And here's why:
R and I were watching Die Hard tonight (one of R's favorite movies), and there's a scene where one of the cops is at a gas station and the camera pans up to the price of gas, and here's the hard part:
It was 74 cents a gallon.
74 CENTS A GALLON.
I pointed at the TV with my mouth agape.
Those were the days!

The said thing is I even wish it was even like 2004 where gas was around $1.99 and every one was freaking it would hit $2.00, I miss those days!
